Most of you at this point have heard that it's important to buy AND own silver or gold at the present moment. We recommend silver, simply because it's more easily divisible than gold. When the proverbial $h1t finally hits the fan, it won't be so easy to buy a loaf of bread with an ounce of gold.

The Nymex price of silver, listed in dollars per troy ounce, represents a "future contract" of 5000 ounces of silver. It is not the price of 1 ounce of silver. And it does not include the cost for physical delivery. Most silver day-traders purchase contracts without any intention of taking physical delivery, and instead just speculating on the conditions of the market. Physical silver, on the other hand, is purchased by those that intend to hold, at least for some time, the physical silver metal. Most do not know whether the price will increase, and don't care either way; they purchase it instead as a store of value.

But the problem is that most physival silver is sold out. If you don't believe it, take a trip to a local coin or bullion store. Chances are good that they don't have ANY silver, and if they do, they're charging RIDICULOUS premiums for it. There's a big problem in these markets. It's probably a good idea for you to learn a bit about it before it's too late.
